What is the Toyota Proace Verso the same as? ›

The Toyota Proace Verso has humble van origins but aims to hide it with some eye-catching paint shades – they are optional, however. It's essentially a re-badged version of the Peugeot Traveller and Citroen SpaceTourer, but is a less expensive alternative to the Mercedes T-Class or Mercedes V-Class.

Reliability and Safety

A long warranty and a five-star safety rating stand the Proace in good stead. As standard, all Toyota Proace Verso models get the usual stability control and twin front airbags but there's also hill-start assist, a tyre pressure monitoring system and cruise control with a speed limiter.

Proace is little short of a rebranding of the Peugeot/Citroen/Fiat midi van and is built at the same Northern French factory.
